Welcome to my attempt of one area to keep track of what I am up to in Singapore!
OK! So it has been far too long since I have posted and I have been given a hard time by far too many people so my new effort is to post once a week... :) haha

This place believe it or not is a huge museum built only a few years ago for the main reason to house a tooth – YES! This huge building is a museum & the high prized artifact is a tooth of the great Buddha.
"The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple (Singapore) (BTRTS) was founded in 2002 by Venerable Shi Fa Zhao. It was registered by the Registrar of Societies in February 2003.
The Temple will be dedicated to the Maitreya Buddha, which means 'The Compassionate One', and also called 'The Future Buddha'."
I kept being asked when I was preparing to move, “what are you going to miss” “what type of food do they have there” etc. common questions you always get when heading on a trip. I tried to explain that Singapore has everything, Taco Bell, Kentucky Fried Chicken, CPK, Mc Donald’s, Carl’s Jr., Pizza Hut, Outback, HOOTERS the lists goes on of typical American food that has found it’s way to little Singapore.
After a long day at work yesterday nothing sounded better than a beer and some “western food” Hooters was the final destination. Although the burger could have been better I beg to differ that you could find a Hooters with a better view than this one. This pic is taken from the table the restaurant is about 5 mins walking distance from my apartment. - LL
The NHR crew after some chili & pepper crab at club in Clark Quay.
Glenn & Mani playing a little baseball in the bar
Hitomi, Me & Keith... still standing, or working the dance floor I should say.
This view is out right side. The left hand corn you can see Robertson Quay
This is the view out to the left, the front of the building, my apt is on level 3.
Standing at the couch looking into the bedroom, the TV is on a lazy Susan and swings from bedroom to living room, pretty modern for this Midwest gal.
Picture is taken standing at the couch looking towards the front door on the right. You can see the edge of the kitchen and eating area. If you walk thru the kitchen you can get to the bathroom area, and can walk thru the bathroom to the bedroom, one little loop.
Someone special sent these to me at work, so pretty, had to take them to the new apt over the weekend to enjoy them.
Jen, Me & Lauren looking pretty good considering the night before. Kristen & Jordan not picture here but this is our "Sex and the City" standard spot - Shoreline. As Jordan says, “location 10 food is a 3”... Beach, Sun in SoCal what more could a gal ask for?
That last Saturday was as perfect, nothing planned just hanging with the gals. It reminded a few of us our favorite summer a few years back. (Kristen's wonderful NEW home in SB.)
A crew of NHR friends and other friends got together for a little goodbye send off at Lefty's. Paul is showing the camera a little love.
Chris, Andy, Me & Brad at Old Kings Road, the boys are fresh off the golf course.
Kristen & me.... my best pal, I love this pic!
Jill, Krsiten, Jade, Me & Marita (Lauren)... still at Old Kings Road. I will end the pics here as lets say we closed the bars that night in good old style!
What started out with me inviting Joe & Christy over for dinner transformed into me going to their house unaware of the plans being made by Tari, MJ, Kristen & Sara.
Christy made these really cute lanterns.
My cake!!!! Hmmmmmmmm
Teri (Erin) & MJ killing the Karaoke, can’t recall which song this pic was taken during but just let me say, we all showed our skills that night!
